Transitional Kindergarten

Formed to meet the needs of those older
children who are not quite ready or who have
missed the cut off date for kindergarten, this
program gives students the added advantage
of another year of pre-school with more
advanced activities. Computers and learning
centers are some of the special activities in
which children are able to participate.
Emphasis is placed on recognition of capital
and lower case letters, early letter sounds,
rhyming, number recognition, following
directions and independent work skills.
Memorization of short poems is done
throughout the year and homework is
assigned from time to time. The transitional

Monday-Friday, 9:00-11:30 am.
